This is basic information about the Tatra National Park:

Information panels in Tatras National Park are here to serve you, do not vandalize them. In your own interest acquaint with the visiting order of TANAP.
To make your stay in the nature more enjoyable make use of marked tourist, educational and spa paths, cycle ways and information centers of nature protection.
Protect Tatras flora and fauna. Do not cull flowers and plants. Do not gather forest fruits. Do not disturb and scare the animals. Give a pleasure to see them also to the others.
Enjoy the walks on tourist and educational paths of natural reservations during the daytime from one hour after the sunrise to one hour before the sunset. Do not shorten the paths.
High mountain paths are due to protection of natural values and and your safety season closed from November 1st to June 15th.. Qualified personnel will take care of your safe stay in the mountain climbing and high mountain terrain of the National Park out of tourist and educational paths between June 16th and October 31st.
In order to protect the birds there are specially dedicated places to be used for hang gliding and parachuting in set dates.
In the National Park there are no places dedicated to camping and bivouacking. Setting campfire is allowed only in places designated to this purpose in recreation cottages.
In order to protect animals in their natural environment it is allowed to walk dogs only with muzzle and on a leash. In natural reservations it is not allowed to release, walk on a leash and carry dogs. Grant quiet and peace to other visitors and Tatras fauna.
For healthy relaxation and doing sports in the nature of National Park you can utilise assigned downhill runs and cross-country skiing paths. Ski mountaineering is allowed only under favorable snow conditions in dedicated places from December 21st to April 15th. Mountain and rock climbing are allowed in set dates in dedicated places. Do not pollute the territory of National Park with garbage. Do not smoke during dry season, a fire could originate.
Protect underground values, do not enter chasms and caves not open to public.
